Frame Size Guide
Finding the right frame size is crucial for ensuring a comfortable and proper fit for your eyewear. At OPSIS Vision Care, we want to help you find the perfect frame size. Follow this guide to determine your frame size and select the ideal fit for your face shape.
Frame Measurements:
Eyewear frames are typically measured using three key dimensions:
a. Lens Width: The horizontal width of each lens, measured in millimeters (mm). It determines how wide the lenses will be on your face.
b. Bridge Width: The distance between the lenses, measured in mm. It determines how well the frame will sit on the bridge of your nose.
c. Temple Length: The length of the temple arms, measured in mm. It determines how the frame will fit around your ears.
Understanding Frame Sizes:
Frames are often labeled with a series of numbers that represent the measurements mentioned above. For example, a frame size may be represented as "50-18-140." In this case:
The lens width is 50 mm.
The bridge width is 18 mm.
The temple length is 140 mm.
Determine Your Frame Size:
To determine your frame size, you can follow these steps:
a. Lens Width: Measure the width of your current glasses or sunglasses by placing a ruler or measuring tape horizontally across the widest part of the lens. Note the measurement in mm.
b. Bridge Width: Measure the distance between the inner edges of the lenses, where they would sit on the bridge of your nose. Note the measurement in mm.
